About Us.

When I was in high school, I had this little dream of owning a snow cone stand. It was a simple dream but one that never left my mind. I always wanted to have a place that would make others happy and be fun for me. “Who doesn’t love a good dessert” I always asked myself? Finally, after lots of prayers, we put a plan into action. Along with my husband, Kyle and our three daughters, this dream became a reality.

Honeys is beginning its third season in business. We love that we’ve created a place for families and friends to gather and spend time together. As a family, we love being outdoors and thought it would be great to have a destination place to hang out, play a few games and just unplug, while enjoying a delicious treat! Just sitting at a picnic table and staring into the pasture or up at the clouds can make you feel closer to the Lord. We love the verse found in Ephesians 4:32, “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving others as God in Christ forgave you.”

Something that sets Honeys apart from all the others are our flavors. The Cowboy, Honeys Bee and Flower Power are all original, they are my very own recipes! All the syrups are made with real sugar, in house. The “worker bees” as I like to refer to my amazing employees play a vital role in the success of this dream. They really enjoy being a part of coming up with new flavor concoctions and giving them a unique,  but fitting name.

The name Honeys was chosen because that’s  what Kyle calls me and it’s the grandmother name I  want to have (someday!). Honeys is truly a family business. The girls love working the window and talking to guests. They don’t like cleaning tables or picking up trash, but they are learning quickly that it’s the little things that make a business successful. They look forward to being the one “in charge” someday!

It is our desire that you will want to come to Honeys and hang out. There’s a flavor for everyone. Bring your family, your friends and even your dog…. we have a special treat for them too, the pup cup! Thank you for helping our little dream come true. We are thankful that you are a part of it!
